Our campus here is absolutely amazing… very remote. We are about 20 miles down a dirt road from the nearest town. We have our own water system and all the buildings are solar powered. The program is a bit different than Footpaths in that we invite a group of students to move out here for an entire college semester. We have a heavy course load of leadership classes, bring our students off campus for a variety of service trips, and go on a number of different adventures for the purpose of personal and group development.
Check back in October for a post from our trip to Basaseachi National Park (one of the most amazing places I’ve ever visited) in November for a post from our big service trip, and again in early December for a post from our 8 day trek.
For Footpaths related business, please do continue to contact us via email to schedule your adventures and leadership training events. We will be back full time in January. Our open enrolment adventure schedule will be finalized and posted by November 1st, so please check back then to see what is coming for the winter and spring. [Please note: we use a satellite internet connection here that is fairly unreliable at this time of year. We will get back to you ASAP, but sometimes it can be a week or more without a connection…]
The Happy-Merry-Hallo-Giving race is still on. Our dear friends, Frank and Amy Garland will be handling things in New Hampshire, while we organize the logistics from here.
Enjoy the remainder of the summer and especially the fall weather, and we’ll see you when the snow flies!
